Bravery.
Villains go to war under it’s cloak.
Death reaps in throves
Soulless corpses feeding vultures not doves.

Are scavengers salvagers?
A writer once said “there’s hardly
Any bravery involved in cutting people off.”
One sided narratives likes this so nicely put
Wise looking till you wisely look.

Before you cut anybody off
They must have become a part of you
Often In the most intrinsic ways
Like eyes, ears sometimes mouth.

Tell me why my favourite brand of cowardice
Won’t be amputating a hostile body part
Even if I bleed.
Grudgingly indulging in the pain bargain
Pain of now that faded later
Pain of later that lasts longer

Life is war.
Flesh and Spirit
Sense and feelings.
On and on.
Battles should be picked
Like roses with thorns
So if you get pricked
You know you bent yourself
If you ask me.

Some battles are better left unfought.
Some words are better left unsaid.
Some things are better left “unexperienced”
Some people are better left after being met.
Don’t belittle the cowardice you don’t understand.
Sometimes it takes even more bravery
Than it takes to be brave to be a coward.
